Centrifuges

What if we could find the exact location of every street drug processing facility in the world?

What would they look like?

There would be no difference between the equipment used for processing of legitimate pharmaceuticals and street drugs.

One large and expensive piece of equipment used for processing is a centrifuge, or several.

What does a sugar mill and pharmaceutical company have in common?  Centrifuges.

The processing of root based pharmaceuticals is basically the same as the processing of sugar crystals from cane stalks or beets.

The sugar after separation from molasses in centrifugal machines is still wet and has to be dried, cooled and graded before bagging and storage.

M.A. Patout and Sons is located on a large piece of land in St. Mary Parish that I understand doesn’t have clear title.  It’s part of the old Armond Broussard Estate which was fraudulently transferred via identity theft in which a Landry was involved.  The entire Rockefeller Refuge and much land in St. Landry Parish has been reported to me by descendants of the original owners as stolen via courthouse fraud.

With that background I found it very interesting that M.A. Patout and Sons ordered four customized centrifuges shipped from England to Louisiana, with a bill of lading at the Port of Houston.

M.A. Patout has been the recipient of much free tax money from the time that Governor Mike Foster was in office.  Since then, M.A. Patout and Sons has developed into a monopoly in South Louisiana.

I wonder why they don’t  order centrifuges from this American company in Ohio:

“Western States, 625 Commerce Center Drive
Fairfield, Ohio manufactures centrifugals for processing all grades of sugarcane and beets, etc.”

The company in England that delivered the customized centrifuges is Broadbent, which was created from a company in Vancouver called
The British Columbia Sugar Refining Company, Limited
(1890-2008), which became
Thomas Broadbent & Sons, Ltd.

What occurs to me now is that the huge quantities of street drug powders could very easily be processed under the cover of a sugar mill.

From Broadbent website:
“SPV1220 Continuous Centrifuge Prepared for Dispatch
Pictured below is a SPV1220 Continuous Centrifuge prepared and ready for dispatch from our workshop in Huddersfield, UK.
This Centrifuge was manufactured for one of our valued customers in Louisiana, USA and will be delivered on time, to schedule. The customer has been a long term partner of Broadbent, trusting in our robust equipment and first class local service. This will be the 6th purchase order and 13th Continuous SPV1220 Centrifuge we have manufactured for our customer, with the first unit delivered back in 1998, demonstrating their faith in our quality manufacture and equipment performance.”

If we knew how and why they were customized,  this might give us a clue as to whether they are used to process something else besides sugarcane.

All manufacturers of sugar processing centrifuges that I’ve seen also offer customized centrifuges for pharmaceuticals.

This is Iberia Sugar Coop.  The Cubans who arrived in New  Iberia in the sixties immediately obtained important jobs in the local sugar mills.  This includes Maggie Toca and her father Carlos, Sr.

The dismantling of many, if not all sugar mills in South Louisiana and sale of the equipment followed the arrival of the Cubans.  This equipment was sent to South America and other foreign nations.    At the same time, that Mr. Toca and his friends were selling sugar mill equipment, they were also the first to bring on foreign workers on temporary work visas, even though there was no labor shortage.  In fact, sugar cane farm jobs were prized positions in the community.  Who wouldn’t love driving a big John Deere tractor in the lovely Louisiana ‘grinding season’ and get paid for it?

Sugarcane is a big deal in South Louisiana.  Every September there’s a Sugarcane Festival in New Iberia.

The organization called ‘Hi Sugar’ (hisugar.org) is a good place to start looking for culprits.  They would certainly use a double entendre like High Sugar.

I don’t know if it would be necessary to mask any odors from pharmaceutical processing but a sugar mill would certainly provide that.  I love the smell of sugar processing.  Some aspects are unpleasant, giving off a nasty smell for awhile, not sure why,  but generally there’s a very strong but pleasant aroma of molasses.

Here’s a page from their website featuring a prominent New Iberian by the name of Perry Segura.
