Dubai Floods

Dubai is flooded and the water has nowhere to go. Somebody decided that city drainage infrastructure wasn’t profitable, and so it wasn’t built. Infrastructure is what “colonialism” gave the world, but since that goes unappreciated, we have Dubai to show us what happens with an insta-City when it rains and there’s no infrastructure because it isn’t profitable, at first. But a few years later…it rained in Dubai.

I noticed awhile back that all flights from Asian countries are forced to make connections in Dubai. I was determined to never ever set foot in Dubai, after reading about how easily they arrest foreigners, even in the airport. We all know how sensitive those Muslim men are to insult. They see it everywhere, and my direct experience with them and their families is that they despise Americans and Europeans and will use us, pretending to be friends, and then spit on us after we’ve helped them achieve their takeover. That’s my experience.

In Dubai they are using the poop trucks to suck water off the airport runway. I wonder who’s collecting the poop from the world’s tallest buildings or if it’s even possible to get through the standing water. Airbnb just changed their terms in order to deal with natural disasters. Imagine the scheduling nightmare for rental cars, hotels and meetings with over a thousand flights cancelled and delayed. Imagine all the diversity hires having to deal with it. It’s kind of funny to see such a confluence of shortsightedness and arrogance, corruption and incompetence all taking place in Dubai.

I am waiting to see how the cathode system is doing in a flooded basement of the Burj Khalifa. This system is to prevent rust damage to the rebar that binds the concrete. Once the rebar gets completely rusted out, the building falls bit by bit. The solution is cathodic protection under the foundation raft, a system that has not been tested by time. Electricity and water don’t mix, so we’ll see what happens. Meanwhile…

Prepare for a long sentence, but not in prison: Imagine being stuck in a crowded Dubai airport for a few days with no way out while the tarmac does not drain because the engineers who designed it didn’t know about city drainage because they decided to take over American universities and get the older white American professors fired back in the 1970’s.

Now add to this the growth of weather modification scientists and businesses offering their services to Middle Eastern governments and you get what I call Divine Intervention in Dubai. When I looked into these governments, I discovered that their oil wealth is a small fraction of their debt. When I hear the term “oil rich Saudis”, I have to laugh. How much money is being lost in Dubai real estate as I write? It appeared to me that Dubai was Plan A for escaping fugitives with loads of stolen tax dollars.
